We want to make your function a success and will help plan and provide for your needs.
The Columbus Club of Binghamton owns and maintains the Knights of Columbus building located at 136 Park Avenue, on the Southside of Binghamton.
We have two rooms available for your rental, depending on the size of your function, with varying rates. There is adequate parking available on the premises
.
Our hall can be rented for your use at a fee of $425.00 while the adjoining lounge area is also available for smaller parties at a cost of $100.00.
              (There is a discount to members)
A $50.00 deposit will hold a date on our calendar.
The main hall will accommodate up to 250 people and the lounge is adequate for parties of 60 or less.

• We have a liquor license and a fully stocked bar (you may not bring in your own alcoholic beverages)

• You may hire your own caterer, choose from a list of caterers that we provide or self cater.

• Our facility is available for a wide variety of events and parties; such as, Weddings, meetings, retirements, showers, birthdays, christenings, etc.
•  We have a large kitchen that will meet all food preparation needs.
•  We will sell beverages over the bar or you may take advantage of our “bar packages” which are calculated at various rates (per hour/per person) depending on your budgetary needs.


Bar Package examples:   (tax not included)
       Soda, coffee and punch @ $60 per function in the lounge
       Soda, coffee and punch @ $60 per 100 guests/per hour  in the main hall
       Draft Beer, Wine and Soda @ $3.00 per person/per hr.
       DB, Wine and Soda plus well mixed drinks @ $4.35 per person/per hr.
       DB, Wine and Soda plus all mixed drinks @ $5.25 per person/per hr.
       DB, Wine and Soda plus all mixed drinks, plus bottled beer @ $6.25 per person/per hr.
       A champagne toast is $.75 per person
       A Dollar Dance is $25.00 a bottle (From the well and premium liquor would be comparably priced)

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we use the kitchen if we, or another caterer, prepare the food? 
Yes, but we require a refundable $100.00 deposit. The deposit will be returned to you if the kitchen is left clean and no damages. (swept, mopped, clean oven, clean refrigerator)
 
Do you have plates and silverware? 
There is a charge of $1.00 per person to use our settings.
 
Can we bring in round tables?
Yes you can, but we will charge $100.00 to take down and store our tables. We will set up and break down the round tables for an additional $100.00.
 
Do you supply the table covering?
We do not. You and/or your caterer must supply the table covering.
Can we bring in our own alcoholic beverages?
Since we have a liquor license, all such beverages must be purchased through the bar.
 
What about security?
The Columbus Club may determine that your function will require extra security and the provision of police officers will be your responsibility.
How late can a party last?
We are concerned about our neighbors, since it is a residential zone, and as a result parties cannot end later than 11pm.
How long is a rental for?
The time allotted for a rental would normally be a period of time up to four hours. An hour prior and an hour after the event is allowed for set up and clean up.
Can we decorate the Hall?
Yes, but when some materials, such as confetti, are used.  They require additional clean up and there will be a $75.00 charge.
 
When can we decorate?
There is the hour prior to your event and if the function is held in our main hall (like a wedding reception) it may also be possible to decorate the night before.  We will try to accommodate your needs.
Why are there so many concerns?
The Columbus Club makes it a priority to provide a safe environment for your event, party or function. In order to fulfill your needs and those of all our customers we have to make the maintenance of the building and the kitchen a primary concern.
